As the saying goes, life is like a box of chocolates, you’ll never know what you will get. This only goes to say that life will surprise you with hardships and struggles. No matter where you are from, or what your background is, life has a way of throwing you some challenges, which at the end, help us become stronger.
Some of these challenges are caused by our decisions, such as financial problems, legal problems, and the likes; while others are a result of something that is beyond our control like catastrophes and other natural occurrences which we don’t have a way of avoiding.
In some parts of the world, like the Philippine tropics, this time of the year is very prone to typhoons and tons of heavy rain, causing most of its major cities to be flooded. Of course, having to deal with flood is no easy feat as it disrupts people’s way of living.
Can you imagine your house being drenched in knee-deep water, with all your valuables being at the risk of getting wet? Situations like these lead to heavy stress and worry but some people really know how to be resilient.
Some people have learned the art of living life in a very chill way that it has allowed them to cope with their flooded living condition. Just like how a group of friends jokingly took advantage of their flooded area to create a hilarious video that went viral online.
In the video, you can see a group of four guys, walking through flooded streets while reenacting a memorial procession. Three of them were pushing a boat wherein one of them is calmly resting. To add humor to the footage, they even played sad music as they were walking.
Part of the factor that made this video extremely funny is how committed the boys were in portraying their role. Their faces were serious as if they were really attending an interment, and the internet surely had a good laugh about it.
To top it all off, the end of the video shows two more guys, apparently playing the role of a priest and an assistant. The two even had props that resembled holy water and a book from which they recited the final rites.
A lot were really entertained with how these boys turned a bad situation into one that is really funny. It’s probably safe to say that we can all learn from them when it comes to taking life too seriously. Just like these boys, we should know how to turn negative events to positive ones.
